Week 72

The things that happened this week:
* Went to Istanbul by train on Tuesday for zone conference. "The people we met were from England. One has been walking and biking all of Europe and is headed to China; he's raising money for refugee kids in south London. The other was a friend he had that helped him during his time in Turkey because he lives here. These guys were legendary! What they are doing is awesome and most importantly, they were super funny.  We talked a ton about who we are, what we're doing and what we believe. They talked to us about their experiences and gave us some really good advice about after we go home."
*That is a tender mercy--meeting tons of people and not just on the mission but all through life who give different perspectives.
*Zone conference was great! President and Sister Davis are different that the Torontos, but in a good way! Most of the conference was about the vision of the mission and what should happen here. "We also need to work with the members more."
*Went on an exchange with E. Allen this past week.
* Had to translate at church again yesterday, hardest one yet! "It was another American family and all of their talks were from General Conference and D&C verses. They apologized after Sacrament Meeting for making it so hard, haha. My brain was fried after that."
*Thanks for doing the missionary newsletter, Dad!
*" I feel like I definitely have the coolest mission ever. I feel way too blessed.  I really don't know why I was chosen to come to this country and don't know if I'll ever know, but will always be grateful and will never wish I served anywhere else at any other time."
*Thanks for b-day packages. The beef jerky was used for prizes at a branch activity and it was funny seeing Turks and Iranians smell and taste dried beef for the first time.
*LOVE
