Week 23
Hey guys! So this week was unsurprisingly the least successful week we've had. Last Monday we got orders from the Area Presidency to make some wardrobe changes. It has been so weird. We had a Skype conference with Baskan Toronto and Friday we were able to go back to the refugee school and play with the kids. We love those kids a lot! Yesterday at church President Cakir had us all to bear our testimonies. We also sang "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" in Turkish. It was the first time I teared up while singing. I also had the opportunity to bless the Sacrament in Turkish for the first time and that was really cool. The Asian district has two friends who will get dunked on Tuesday night!!! We are so stoked! I love you all so much and thanks for all of the prayers and support.

ReplyDeleteWow, he sounds so happy. I feel so bad that they had to leave the place and the people, they've grown to love so much. Hard to believe they were only there a little over three months (I had to count it out a few times to make sure). Hopefully things will work out that they can go back (safely) in a short time.
