Week 11

Hey guys!
I have to tell you about the coolest part of my week-- we were able to play futbol and volleyball with some Syrian, Iraqi, and Iranian refugee kids!  They were crazy and scrappy and they were also awesome to hang out with!  It was so much fun. Only a few of them knew English and it wasn't very much.  None of them spoke Turkish, and of course they all spoke Arabic so we didn't understand each other very much, but it didn't matter because we had such a good time.  I also went on my first exchange.  I was with Elder Nahle--he's half Lebanese.   I LOVE the food here!  My companion and I don't even eat American food because the authentic stuff tastes a lot better and is less expensive! I love the durums and the cig kofte.  Look those up because it's hard to describe them.  I'll be talking to you next Sunday and I can't wait!
